What is Being Done?

One option is to use coil that contains less sulfur. Another great way to reduce acid rain is to produce energy without using fossil fuels. Most acid rain is caused by cars that pollute the air, to reduce this we can ride our bicycles to near places that we are used to go in our cars.

A food web is a diagram that explains the feeding relationship between deffrent animals. An animal that is on the top of the food web eats the many other plants or animals in the low part of a food web. The high animals are the predadors and the low animals are the pray.

Acid rain does affect the food web. Like I explained before. Imagine the algee dies because of the acid rain, and the fish eat algee, but there's no more! Now the fishes die because they have nothing to eat. Now the crocodiles pray is dead too, so he doesn't have anything to eat either, and he also dies. You see, every single change affects everything!

How does pH affect animals?

It affects more in the water, were it contains. A minimum change in the acid level, is able to kill everything.

In the U.S.A calcium depletion is affecting the singing bird's food. This is happening because acid rain falls and kills or damages the bird's food, with the conclusion that the birds don't have anything to eat.

_The Effects_

Acid rain damages lots of things such as enviorments (forests), it can cause health problems in people, lakes, streams, buildings and even objects! Acid rain kills plants, and a lot of animals eat plants, so when there's nothing this animal can eat he probably dies, and when his specie dies, the animal that eats him doesn't have anything to eat anymore either. This is how animals are affected. Plants are just to sensible that the acid rain kills them.

What Causes Acid Rain? ®

Acid rain is caused by a chemical reaction that begins when compounds like sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are realesed into the air. These substances can rise very high in the atmosphere, when they can mix and react with water.

Acid rain is not pure acid falling from the sky, it is a rainfall that has been mixed with chemicals and elements that evaporate with the water and become acid rain. Acidity is a term used to describe substances that have a value lower than 7 on the pH scale.

What is happening? Acid rain, that's it! This rain is affecting the enviorments, with the affected areas, the animals get affected too, this affects the food cycle, and finishes affecting us!
